NIVIUK TAKOO 6

The new Takoo 6 – a wing for two – is even easier to use and offers an efficient and enjoyable flying experience. Handling and control efficiency have been improved, allowing for smoother and more precise turning than ever before. It is a simple, intuitive, and durable paraglider, making it ideal for unlimited professional and recreational tandem flying.

Excellent handling

Flying is even more intuitive, comfortable, and easy. Perfect for ending the day without fatigue.
Brake efficiency has been optimized, reducing pressure on the control lines and improving turning—making it more direct, lighter, and requiring less input.

Easy takeoff and landing

The Takoo 6 features exceptionally smooth, progressive canopy inflation and takeoff, with immediate load transfer, enabling easy launches for all types of passengers.
Landing has been improved, and the wing maintains speed very well.

Stable and comfortable

The wing has high longitudinal (pitch) stability, and feedback from the wing to the passenger is reduced, ensuring maximum comfort. The profile is very stable, which helps minimize the effects of turbulence during flight and maintain a constant speed. Both pilot and passenger will enjoy significantly more comfortable and safer flights.

Combination of materials

A combination of different materials is used to achieve an optimal balance between durability and wing strength, without compromising its lightness. The upper surface uses Dokdo 40 and 36 g fabric for greater robustness, while the lower surface is made of Dokdo 32 g material. The ribs are a combination of Dokdo 40 and 32 g materials. All lines are sheathed, ensuring greater durability and performance.

Trimmers on the risers

The Takoo’s risers allow for a wide speed range thanks to the trimmers. The trimmer positions are color-coded for easier use: the neutral position, marked in green, is ideal for takeoff and thermalling. Opening the trimmers increases speed. Red markings indicate different levels of acceleration and help determine the trimmer position. With the trimmers closed (fully pulled down), sink rate improves while brake pressure is reduced when flying at higher wing loadings.
